Pres. Obama on Pride Month: “Our Union Can Be Made More Perfect”

President Obama has issued his annual proclamation declaring June official Pride Month.
In addition, he recorded a video for the occasion. It is the first Presidential Pride Month Proclamation to include marriage equality.

WOW, so thankful that finally someone on the top decided to validate us (GLBT). Thank you President Obama for speaking out and standing with us. Blessings to you and your healthy wonderful family. Michele thanks for bringing up the issues that our nation’s kids face every day with bullying to obesity and helping those to become healthy by exercising and eating right. We need our schools to not only talk about it, we need them to walk the talk.
