We are members of Lawrence, KS Unitarian Fellowship and Lawrence-Topeka Chapter of PFLAG. Today my husband spoke to our Human Relations Commissioners of the need to add transgender or gender identification persons as an added protected class to our local Human Relations Ordinance, that already included gay and lesbian citizens. We also asked "What does Standing on the Side of Love demand we do next?"
