Ask Congress to Repeal DOMA

The federal government still denies that legally married same-gender couples are a fact of law in the United States, and withholds more than 1,000 federal rights, protections, benefits, and responsibilities to these couples.

In July, the Respect for Marriage Act, which would repeal a provision of DOMA that denies federal recognition to married same-sex couples, had its first ever hearing.

Please tell your members of Congress to support this crucial legislation that would repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act.
